Daniel 9:27 (NIV) He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven’ but in the middle of that ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And one who causes desolation will place abominations on a wing of the temple until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

The Antichrist will be revealed to the discerning Judeo-Christians by a seven year peace agreement (covenant, contract) that allows the re-establishment of daily (blood) sacrifice by the Jews in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.  Daily sacrifice by the Jews must be reestablished in order for the Antichrist to "put an end to sacrifice and offering".  Whoever is able to make the peace agreement (covenant, contract) that allows re-establishment of daily sacrifice by the Jews in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is the Antichrist. At the precise moment in time when that peace agreement (covenant, contract) is signed, we will be in the Tribulation. The seven year clock of the Tribulation will have started.

The peace agreement will mark the beginning of the globalized government.  It will be the watershed event that begins the ride of the Antichrist and the False Prophet.  The League of Nations formed by Woodrow Wilson did not include religion.  The United Nations does not include the religions.  The Peace Agreement that begins the Seven Year Tribulation will be the first document of the New World Dis-Order.  All of the major religions; Christianity, Judaism, and Islam will be represented; and all of the major civilian countries will be represented in one agreement.  This peace agreement actually marks the opening of the First of the Seals. 

Revelation 6:1 (NIV) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

This person is on a white horse like Jesus, but this person has only one crown.  Jesus has many crowns.  Jesus has already conquered Satan, death and hell.

After the Antichrist puts "an end to sacrifice and offering," the Antichrist will "will place abominations" that "causes desolation"  "on a wing of the temple."  The Antichrist will set himself up in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and call himself God.

The "seven" referenced in Daniel 9:27 (printed above) is the Seven Year Tribulation period spoken of in Jeremiah 30:5-7, and Matthew 24:21-22.

Jeremiah 30:5-7 (NIV) "This is what the LORD says: "'Cries of fear are heard-- terror, not peace. 6 Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale? 7 How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it.

Matthew 24:21-22 (NIV) For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.  If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

We know that Jeremiah 30:5-7 (printed above), and Matthew 24:21-22 (printed above) are referencing the Seven Year Tribulation period of Daniel 9:27 (printed above) because in the middle of that "seven" we have "the abomination that causes desolation" referenced in Matthew 24:15 (printed above), - the Antichrist setting himself up in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and proclaiming himself God.

Daniel 8:9-14 (NIV) Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the Beautiful Land. 10 It grew until it reached the host of the heavens, and it threw some of the starry host down to the earth and trampled on them. 11 It set itself up to be as great as the Prince of the host; it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was brought low. 12 Because of rebellion, the host of the saints and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, "How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled--the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and of the host that will be trampled underfoot?" 14 He said to me, "It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated."

There are four things listed in Daniel's vision referenced in Daniel 8:9-14 (printed above), and a time table given for those four things:

    1. "the daily sacrifice"

    2. "the rebellion that causes desolation"

    3. "the surrender of the sanctuary"

    4. "the host that will be trampled underfoot"

The time table is "2,300 evenings and mornings."

There are 2,550 days in the seven year period allocated by Daniel 9:27 for the Tribulation, but only "2,300 evenings and mornings" referenced in Daniel 8:14, for daily sacrifice.

This 250 day gap, or 8 1/2 months is the time that will be required for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, after the Antichrist confirms the "covenant."

We operate under the Gregorian calendar of 365 days per year with a leap day every four years. 365 days time 7 years, plus one leap day totals 2,556 days.

Daniel operated under the lunar calendar of 12 periods with 30 days, totaling 360 days per year, with a leap month every 7 years. 360 days time 7 years, plus one leap month  totals 2,550 days.

We will not know the day or hour for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, because if for no other reason, we do not know when the leap month will be applied.

Antiochus Epiphanes is a for glimpse of the Antichrist and created an "abomination that causes desolation" when he desecrated the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem approximately 160 years before Christ, for a 3 1/2 year period. Antiochus Epiphanes was the King of Syria. The King of Syria will be the Antichrist. Hafez al Assad, the immediate past King of Syria and father of the present king was the most brilliant, deceptive, and cunning man in the middle east during his era. Born Hafez al Wahash (In Arabic, Wahash means "Beast") he changed his name to Hafez al Assad (In Arabic, Assad means "Lion.")

Revelation 13:2a (NIV)  The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.

Revelation 13:5-6 (NIV)  The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

When Hafez al Wahash (Assad) changed his name from Wahash (beast) to Assad (lion), did it change his character?

Jeremiah 13:23 (NIV)  Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.

When Saddam Hussein attacked Kuwait, Saddam was condemned by a substantial portion of the world. At the time, when the world was distracted by Saddam, Haffez al Assad took complete control of Lebanon by killing all of his Christian resistance. He was not only never questioned by the world, he remained a powerful force in the coalition that attacked Saddam.  Syria has long been reported by the C.I.A. as being heavily involved in state-backed international drug trafficking. Haffez al Assad had been in control of world terrorism for more than a decade through his control of Hamas, Hezbollah, the P. L. O. and ALL mid-east terrorist organizations, with minimal world condemnation. ALL mid-east terrorist organizations have public offices in Damascus, Syria.  Assad's puppets had included at various times; King Hussein of Jordan, Yasser Arafat - spokesman for the P.L.O., Moammar Gadhafi - King of Libya, as well as lesser known people, important only in the area of world terrorism. 

His second son Bashar al Assad succeeded him.  Bashar al Assad is from the Wahash (Beast) family line, but his adopted name of Assad means "lion". In arabic, "Bashara"  is the good news.  "Bashar" is the one that reveals the good news, or the giver of the good news.

Bashar al Assad was born in Damascus, Syria on September 11, 1965.  The Twin Towers attack was on Bashar's birthday, (I'm sure he called the attack on that day as a birthday present to himself, see FAQ #9).  Bashar's father, Hafez al Assad's birthday was October 6, 1930.  Hafez al Assad violently opposed the existence of Israel, and any relationship by any Arab country with Israel.  In 1979, Anwar al Sadat President of Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel.  Anwar al Sadat was assassinated on October 6, 1981, Hafez al Assad's birthday.

Bashar attended  the Franco-Arab al-Hurriyet School in Damascus.  He attended the University of Damascus and has studied Medicine and Ophthalmology in the United Kingdom.  Consequently, he is very familiar with Western thought and culture, and can interact smoothly with the West.  He is the president of the Syrian Computer Society and can relate well to Western academia and intellectuals.  Like his father, he was elected for a seven year period.

Revelation 13:2a (NIV)  The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.

The symbol for Russia is the "Great Bear."  The phrase "feet like those of a bear" reveals that the beast will initially stand on, and be carried or supported by Russia.  The Russian-Syrian alliance connects nuclear weapons to the terrorist distribution system.  The Russian-Syrian alliance is already in place.
