Eyal Gruner is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Cynet, which is quickly making its mark in the world of cybersecurity.
He is also co-founder and former CEO of BugSec, Israel’s leading cyber consultancy, and Versafe, which was acquired by F5 Networks in 2013. Gruner, or “boy security wonder,” as Gartner VP Distinguished Analyst Avivah Litan referred to him in her blog, began his career at age 15, when he hacked into his bank’s ATM, then approached bank management to demonstrate the weaknesses of their system.
Gruner joined the Information Security team of the bank for a year, before spending another year at age 16 working at the former Aladdin Knowledge Systems. He founded BugSec in 2005. Gruner has been recognized in Google’s Hall of Fame with a Google Security Reward for identifying and reporting vulnerabilities.
