Texas state agencies can now deploy enterprise-grade cybersecurity without months of custom security reviews

BOSTON, March 23, 2026 – Cynet has received TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification from Texas Cyber Command (TXCC) to offer its unified, AI-powered cybersecurity platform (formerly marketed as “Cynet Auto XDR”) to state agencies in Texas. Cynet is one of only a few Extended Detection and Response (XDR) vendors to achieve TX-RAMP Level 2, the highest certification tier within the TX-RAMP program.

Before hosting Texas state agency data in the cloud, cloud service providers are required to obtain certification from TXCC for each product providing service. Cynet received Level 2 certification for its platform on February 3, 2026. This certification lasts until February 2, 2029, at which time Cynet is planning to renew the certification.

Cynet is a unified cybersecurity platform that combines AI-powered prevention, detection, and response with a team of 24×7 MDR security experts, called CyOps. The platform manages full attack paths, including endpoints, users, networks, identity, cloud, mobile, email, and SaaS, and is delivered through a global network of partners.

“TX-RAMP Level 2 is the highest certification tier in the program and reflects our mission to give every organization cybersecurity peace of mind so they can focus on what matters most,” said Shivtej Tata, Director of Information Security at Cynet. “This certification means Texas agencies can move forward with Cynet without the months-long review process, knowing we’ve met the highest bar for security. Combined with our existing DIR contracts in the Texas market, we’re proud to be a trusted partner for government agencies across the state.”

TXCC is a first-of-its-kind agency that prevents and responds to cyberattacks targeting the public and private entities that Texans depend on. This includes administering the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (or TX-RAMP for short), which sets the standard of security for cloud computing services employed by Texas state agencies.
