New York, NY – December 17, 2019 — Cynet has announced the results of its 2019 survey of cybersecurity professionals, examining pay rates measured against employee achievements, education, skills and more. 1,324 participants from diverse industries worldwide participated in the survey, which was administered in the fourth quarter of 2019. The 2020 Cybersecurity Salary Survey was developed for the purpose of gaining insight into a wide range of employee attributes related to cybersecurity compensation. The data received backs detailed salary profiles for five popular security positions: Security Analyst, Threat Intelligence Specialist, SecurityCloud Security Architect, Penetration Tester and Security DirectorManager. The data includes both the range and composition/salaries for these positions, as well as the relative impacts of the organization (geolocation, industry, etc.) and individual (gender, experience, certification) factors.
