Infrastructure and Architecture
Cynet runs production workloads across multi-region AWS using a modern EKS-based microservices architecture. Environments are protected with layered controls including firewall, WAF, DDoS protection, and rate limiting. Production, testing, and development are fully isolated to prevent cross-environment risk.
We Use our Own Technology
Cynet secures its own production environment using the Cynet platform. Every production server is monitored in real time, with automated alerts routed directly to our CyOps (our 24x7 Security Operations team). Continuous vulnerability scanning and immediate escalation of critical findings ensure we experience the same protection and rigor our partners deliver to their clients.
Development and Change Control
All production changes follow formal change management with risk assessment, testing, approvals, and documented rollback procedures. Access to production deployments is tightly restricted and reviewed by Security and Operations teams. Post-deployment monitoring and root cause analysis ensure continuous improvement and platform stability.
Access Control and Monitoring
Production environment access requires VPN, SSO, and MFA enforcement. Strong password policies and quarterly access reviews ensure least-privilege access aligned to job roles. All activity is logged and monitored in real time, with both logical and physical access continuously audited.
Data Protection and Recovery
Production data is protected with automated daily backups, multi-week retention, and additional snapshot recovery points. Backup health is continuously monitored, and access is limited to authorized Security and Operations personnel only.
Personnel and Operational Staff Security
All employees undergo background checks and sign confidentiality agreements before accessing Cynet systems. Ongoing security awareness training, annual policy attestations, and continuous risk assessments ensure Cynet maintains a strong security culture across corporate and production environments.

Cynet protects sensitive customer data using strong encryption and strict access controls. All data in transit is secured with TLS 1.2+ and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Access to the platform is managed via Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and enforced with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), with all user and system activity fully logged and monitored.

Cynet stores and processes customer data within regionally selected AWS data centers based on legal, regulatory, and customer preferences (Ireland region, and Virginia region). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with no unauthorized cross-border transfers, ensuring compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and other data protection frameworks.
